Confederation of Tourism, Hotel & Catering Management (CTHCM)
CTHCM was established in 1982 in London to provide recognised standards of management and vocational training appropriate to the needs of the hotel and travel industries, via its syllabus, examinations and awards. The Confederation is the only established specialist professional body in UK which focusing on the training needs of new entrants to the hospitality and tourism industries.
CTHCM works with approved centres worldwide and is acknowledged and endorsed by leading hotel and travel industry organisations, such as HCIMA, Star Alliance and Virgin Atlantic Airways.
In the past 5 years, CTHCM has registered over 15,000 students on its programmes.
The main academic and training specialisations offered by CTHCM are:

CTHCM management programmes are designed to offer broad equivalency to the first and second years of British university degree. As such the scope of training is essentially supervisory and strategic rather than routine skills based. Graduates of CTHCM management programmes are capable for the roles as Junior Management in tourism and hotel industry. Subsequently, CTHCM Advanced Diploma graduates are guaranteed for admission into the final year of Bachelor degree at UK universities.
